If this bill passes, it means that:
Applicants for a hemp licence face a 100 penalty unit fine for providing information they know to be false or misleading.
Hemp licence holders are penalized for breaking licence terms, with fines ranging from 20 to 100 penalty units.
Former hemp licence holders must surrender their licence and related documents within 14 days of suspension or cancellation or face a 20 penalty unit fine.
Authorized inspectors can enter and inspect non-residential premises to examine crops, copy documents, and take samples.
