Effects of this bill

If this bill passes, it means that:

The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is abolished and its board and chief executive officer are removed from office.
The Crown takes over all property, rights, and liabilities of the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.
The Responsible Gambling Ministerial Advisory Council is abolished.
A new Gambling Harm Response Fund is established to receive credits and funding.
Money from the old Responsible Gambling Fund is transferred into the new Gambling Harm Response Fund.
Payments from the Community Support Fund no longer go to the Responsible Gambling Fund.
The Minister decides how money in the Gambling Harm Response Fund is spent on gambling harm prevention, education, treatment, and regulation advice.
