Effects of this bill
If this bill passes, it means that:
The Secretary can designate specific areas of land on plan LEGL./24–214 as firewood collection areas
The Secretary is prohibited from designating new firewood collection areas on or after 1 July 2029
Any land previously designated as a firewood collection area ceases to be one starting 1 July 2029
Crown Allotments 2143, 2144, 2145, 2146, 2147 and 2148 in the Parish of Jika Jika are added to the list of leasable land at the Carlton recreation ground
